The idea would allow people to display and show their pride in our city. The campaign can be tailored to each individual attraction. Throughout the city, county and would allow buttons, pins or bumper stickers to be made showing off that pride. The zoo, the arch, Ted Drewes and the button would be reflective of that pride. I'm a St. Louis zoo show off!! ( If you knew the Zoo, you'd show off too!) Ted Drewes Show off (we eat this up) The Magic House Show off (because we're rated better attraction than Disneyworld and Disneyland) I'm a Cardinal show off (Because we're the best fans in baseball) What we want at the end of your visit is to say "I had fun and a great time!" but most importantly for those of us who live here, we want to hear "I want to come back again, I didn't get to see it all. That is our goal and that is our wish for you! So please come to St. Louis and let us show off for YOU! every major attraction, place to visit restaurant could take davantage of this concept and easily adapt it to their location. The spots can be as short or as long as you rerquire to get across your message or reason for showing off. This campaign is a marketing dream come maker. "St. Louis, Missouri - the show me off city in the show me state!" YOu can involve celebraties to just you very day citizen and let them brag about the city. Say as the mayor is bragging about St. Louis he is walking and as he brags each attraction, restaurant, each attribute appears in the background while he walks. Simple as "We can even brag about having the best tasting water in the coutry in St. Louis. There is not an attraction or place of interest that you cannot incorporate into this campaign and as the city grows or new attractions arise you can simply roll them into the campaign. For example ( I'm an Arch show off - I'm a Botantical Garden Show off - I'm a Zoo show off - "Ask me what I have to show off about!" - The advertising premiums used is endless and could be sold by each particular attraction to help fund their involvement in the campaign.

The Metro Neighborhood

Create an annual series of events hosted by various cities and neighborhoods throughout the Metro area all tagged under the same banner. The Events would be aimed at integrating and developing a common sense of pride and ownership for the St. Louis area by nature of showcasing local talent, traditions, food, music and more to the greater metro area. These events would ultimately be aimed at providing a platform to develop a more cohesive identity within the Metro Neighborhood and a hope to accurately redefine our Identity to the region and Nation.
