The Wilt/Bloom Initiative : Garden Project

The Wilt/Bloom Initiative is a non-governmental organization which concerns itself with transforming vacant spaces into usable public spaces that serve the greater good. The projects under this title will mainly involve urban agriculture, vertical farming, and community gardening, but may also include hydroponic and aquaponic projects. We are interested, not only in informing the public about how to do these things, but with helping them hands on.

Turn our highways in to Art Museums

Why do we have to drive down our highways and have them look like every other generic highway in the U.S.? Why don't we take advantage of all the free space and let local artists display their works and sculptures, for us to enjoy as we drive? Why don't we expand one of our city's greatest treasures, an art museum that's free for everyone, and apply that idea to our highways and everyday lives?

The Metro Neighborhood

Create an annual series of events hosted by various cities and neighborhoods throughout the Metro area all tagged under the same banner. The Events would be aimed at integrating and developing a common sense of pride and ownership for the St. Louis area by nature of showcasing local talent, traditions, food, music and more to the greater metro area. These events would ultimately be aimed at providing a platform to develop a more cohesive identity within the Metro Neighborhood and a hope to accurately redefine our Identity to the region and Nation.
