How does Rally Saint Louis work?
  • This is a platform to generate ideas and use funding from the region’s residents. We then use those ideas to help market a greater St. Louis. You can submit your idea, vote on an idea, fund an idea, or all of the above.
Who can submit?
  • Minimum age to submit an idea is 13 years old.
  • You don’t have to be from St. Louis or currently residing in St. Louis in order to submit an idea. We know there are plenty of Saint Louisans living outside our city that would love to help out!
Who can vote?
  • Minimum age to vote on an idea is 13 years old.

How often can I vote?
  • Voting is allowed once per day per idea. You can get additional votes by spreading the word in social media about the ideas you love.
Are there limits on how many times I can submit an idea?
  • No, submit as many as you like.
When are ideas able to be submitted?
  • Submissions of ideas are ongoing and you can submit at any time.
How many submissions will be chosen?
  • The top five (5) highest voted ideas will be chosen at the beginning of each month to move on to the funding phase.
Are there any restrictions on ideas submitted?
  • Rally Saint Louis asks that you do not submit ideas that contain or revolve around:
    • Politics
    • Religion
    • Sex, Drugs, Smoking
    • Alcohol Abuse (those over 21 can have ideas that involve alcohol in a responsible way)
    • Racism
    • Bullying
What if I want to change my idea after I’ve already submitted?
  • No problem, but if you’ve already received funding for an idea, you will not be able to change it.
Can I withdraw my idea?
  • No. Once an idea is submitted, it will stay on the website until it is funded, does not receive funding in the funded round or does not receive votes for any 30 day period.
Who runs the winning project?
  • This is at the Board’s discretion with input from the idea submitter. The Board will solicit three (3) responses for bids to run the project and their decision will be final.
Does Rally Saint Louis take ownership of the idea submitted?
  • No, the idea is still that of the person submitting and the Rally Saint Louis community, but Rally Saint Louis helps bring the idea to life. While Rally Saint Louis will not take any ownership, once the idea is submitted, the submitter must acknowledge that he or she does not retain the rights solely to themselves.
